Welcome to the Age Group Zone of the Dextro Energy Triathlon Hamburg Hamburg is not only one of the elite athlete’s most favourite legs of the Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship Series, it is also by far the biggest age group triathlon you can find. Since its premiere in 2002 the triathlon in Hamburg has grown in size every year and now has 8.700 participants. The course of the Dextro Energy Triathlon Hamburg is what makes it so special: Swimming in the river Alster, cycling through the streets of central Hamburg along the famous Elbchaussee and finishing in front of the historic Hamburg Town Hall is a unique experience for every athlete. Hamburg has set the highest organisational standards: professional entry management, perfect technical and medical service, immediate results service, shower and changing facilities, SMS-result-messages free of charge, plenty of drink and aid stations prior, during and after the race -- this all comes as part of the package for the participants in Hamburg. |
